Sending a Mail/Care Package

The Brown County Juvenile Detention Inmates can receive written letters from their friends and family. For safety reasons, all letters are checked by jail staff upon arrival. The jail staff will pass the mail out to the correct inmates after the staff checks the mail.

Sending Money

In order to make purchases from the commissary, the inmates at the Brown County Juvenile Detention will need money. Phone calls

The Brown County Juvenile Detention inmates are not allowed to receive phone calls from their family or friends. Although, during their phone time, inmates are allowed to make phone calls to their friends and family. The inmates are limited to 15-minute calls. The call will be disconnected when the 15 minutes is up. 

Calling features such as three-way calling and call forwarding are not allowed for the inmates to use. Immediately, the call will be terminated if an inmate is caught using these features. and disciplinary action will be taken up against the inmate.

Those who only have cell phones won't t be able to take these collect calls. The individual that is receiving the collect call is the one responsible for any and all charges from this call. The Brown County Juvenile Detention isn't responsible for any charges from any collect calls.
