Sending a Mail/Care Package
The Missoula County Detention Facility inmates are allowed to get written letters in the mail from their family and friends. All letters that are sent to the jail are checked by the jail employees before they are handed out to the inmates.

Phone calls
For the phone service the Missoula County Detention Facility uses Securus Technologies. You will need to create an account by logging on to the Securus Technologies official website. You can see the charges and the options for depositing funds into the inmate’s phone account over there.
The Missoula County Detention Facility inmates are allowed to only make collect phone calls. You will only be able to receive a collect call from an inmate from a landline phone. However, you will not be able to receive any collect calls from a mobile phone. The individual receiving the collect call is the one responsible for and all fees associated with the collect calls. The Missoula County Detention Facility is not accountable for any and all charges associated with the collect calls.
The inmates are limited to 15-minute phone calls. The call will get terminated as soon as the 15-minutes is over. Calling features such as three-way calling and call forwarding are forbidden for the inmates to use. If an inmate is caught using any of these features the call will get disconnected and disciplinary action will be taken up against the inmate.
All calls will be monitored and/or recorded.

The inmates do not have a way to keep in touch with friends and family using any electronic messaging systems. Visiting Rules
