Inmates at Baltimore County Department of Corrections are not permitted to receive incoming phone calls. The jail staff won't take any messages for the inmates either.
The jail supplies phones for the inmates to use. The inmates are allowed to make prepaid collect, prepaid calling cards and collect calls.
For their phone service, the Baltimore County Department of Corrections contracts with Pay Tel Communication. Inmates are allowed to talk for 20-minute increments at a time. The call will be disconnected when the 20-minutes is over.
The inmates at Baltimore County have access to their Pay Tel Communication account. However, they do not have access to the internet.
The Pay Tel Communication account allows inmates the ability to message their friends and family back home, so it's more than just a phone service. There is a fee associated with this service.

How Often Can I Visit?
Inmates are permitted to have one visitation per calendar week.
This visitation can have up to three people only. This includes children as well.
