When an inmate first arrives at the jail they are taken to the intake where they are held in a large holding cell with other inmates. Inmates are highly monitored while they are in the intake. Those that are violent and can’t control themselves are segregated.
This facility has the Work Release program that inmates are able to take advantage of. This allows inmates to attend to their financial responsibilities while they are in jail. Inmates must meet a list of qualifications to be accepted into this program.
