Sending Money
There are several different ways money can be sent to inmates in Forsyth County Jail & Detention Center.
Kiosk
There are kiosks in the lobbies at 1200 address. In order to deposit funds into an inmate's account, you will need to know the inmates SPN as well as their full name to use this service.
Online
Using the Touchpad website you can make deposits into an inmate's account. The deposit is immediately posted when funding an inmate's account this way. However, this service does have a fee.
Western Union
You can also use Western Union to deposit funds. You call them at 1-800-643-3422, log onto their website or use one of their kiosks as well. $300 is the maximum deposit you can make by either phone or online. There is a service fee involved with this service as well.

- Inmate's SPN
- Code city.
Money orders and cashier’s checks can be sent to the Jail. Checks need to be payable to the “Inmate Trust Fund” as well as SPN and their name on the bottom. Phone calls
Inmates at the Forsyth County Jail & Detention Center are not allowed to receive phone calls from family and friends. Although they can make collect calls to family and friends that posses a landline. Inmates are not able to make a collect call to any cell phones. The individual receiving the collect call is responsible for any and all fees associated with the collect calls. Any calling features such as three-way calls and call forwarding are prohibited. If you are found using these features, the call will be disconnected immediately. All calls are monitored and recorded.

Visiting Rules
