Sending a Mail/Care Package
All mail that is arriving to the Denver County Jail must have the following information:

Any arriving mail that does not have all the information listed below, will be sent back to sender.
The jail staff checks all mail that comes into the facility. All mail will be sent back to sender immediately if they are sprayed with perfume, makeup, lipstick, or anything else.
Inmates are allowed to receive four magazines and two paperback books at a time. Used and hardback books are not permitted. Books have to be sent straight from the publisher and they must be new as well.

Sending Money
There are several different ways money can be sent to inmates in Denver County Jail.
Kiosk
There are kiosks in the lobbies at 1200 address. In order to deposit funds into an inmate's account, you will need to know the inmates SPN as well as their full name to use this service.
Online
Using the Touchpad website you can make deposits into an inmate's account. The deposit is immediately posted when funding an inmate's account this way. However, this service does have a fee.
Western Union
You can also use Western Union to deposit funds. You call them at 1-800-643-3422, log onto their website or use one of their kiosks as well. $300 is the maximum deposit you can make by either phone or online. There is a service fee involved with this service as well.
You will need to know the following information:
- Inmates Full Name
- Inmate's SPN
- Code city.
Money orders and cashier’s checks can be sent to the Jail. Checks need to be payable to the “Inmate Trust Fund” as well as SPN and their name on the bottom. The jail will send the check back to sender if the check is not made payable to "Inmate Trust Fund". Money orders and cashier checks can be sent to the following address:

Phone calls
Inmates at the Denver County Jail are not allowed to receive phone calls from family and friends. Although they can make collect calls to family and friends that posses a landline. Inmates are not able to make a collect call to any cell phones. The individual receiving the collect call is responsible for any and all fees associated with the collect calls. The only calls inmates at the Denver County Jail can make are collect calls
Any calling features such as three-way calls and call forwarding are prohibited. If you are found using these features, the call will be disconnected immediately. All calls are monitored and recorded.
Denver County Jail inmates do not have access the internet. Through JPay friends and family can send messages and emails to an inmate.
If family and friends want to keep in touch with an inmate they can do so through JPay. However, there are fees assosiated with JPay.
Visiting Rules
At the Denver County Jail visitation is a privilege. Without any warning, a visitation can be provoked. Before visitors are allowed in the visitation area they must have their government ID on them.
Inmates are permitted 2 adults and 2 children visitors during visiting hours at a time. Children must be accompanied by their legal gardian. Visitors must follow the jail's dress code rules.
