Sending a Mail/Care Package
The Delta County Detention Facility are allowed to get written letters from their family and friends. For safety reasons all letters get inspected by jail employees when they arrive. The jail staff pass out the letters to the correct inmates after the mail gets inspected.

The books, magazines, and newspapers will need to be sent directly from the bookstore or publisher to the jail. All books being sent to the jail will have to be new and paperback. All used and hardcover books are not allowed. Books will be sent back to sender if they are used or hardcover.

Phone calls
The Delta County Detention Facility inmates are not allowed to get phone calls from their family or friends. During phone time, inmates are permitted to call their family and friends. The inmates are only allowed to have 15-minute phone calls. The call will be disconnected when the 15-minutes is up.
Calling features such as three-way calling and call forwarding are prohibited for the inmates to use. The call will be disconnected if an inmate is caught using any of these features. Disciplinary action will be taken up against the inmate.

Visiting Rules
The Delta County Detention Facility inmates can have visitors. All visitors under the age of 18 will are allowed to visit, however, they will need to stay by their legal guardian.
